Job summary

Spec on the Job is seeking experienced Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operators for our warehouse team in Belvidere, IL. Starting pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience, with training provided.

Roles include stand-up forklifts, turret truck and sit-down PIT operation on 1st and 2nd shifts. Training is a 3-day paid program led by our Warehouse Safety Lead, with hours 6:00 AM–2:00 PM for training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts and other PIT equipment to move, load and stage materials.
• Support inbound and outbound teams as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and productive work pace.
