Job summary

Staffmark Group in Cranbury, NJ is hiring a PIT Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain warehouse equipment in a fast-paced production setting. You will inspect products, replenish materials, and help ensure safety and quality, with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience with warehouse equipment, basic math and inventory skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment required.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience handling international shipments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and operate equipment throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and procedures.
• Inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to consistent, reliable production performance in a manufacturing setting.
