Qualifications

• Experience operating large loaders in mining/quarry environments preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to MSHA/OSHA rules.
• Proficient in load distribution and equipment pre/post checks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with truck drivers and supervisors.
• Physical ability to operate controls and withstand job site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the pit loader to load materials into trucks or feeders.
• Excavate quarry areas and maintain face, ramp, and floor conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues.
• Load materials with proper weight distribution and stability.
• Follow production plans to meet tonnage targets.
• Coordinate with drivers and other operators to ensure smooth loading flows.
• Document loading activities and maintain logs as required.
