Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator for Pit 21 in Glyndon, MN. The role involves operating multiple dirt work machines and supporting daily site operations across a range of projects.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, assist crew, and maintain plant and yard areas while upholding safety and environmental standards in a unionized environment. Training and career growth are available within a diverse construction materials group.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Good physical fitness and dexterity.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
• Detail oriented with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate dirt work equipment including Dozer, Track loader, Excavator, Skidsteer, Tractor and Backhoe.
• Assist crew in daily site operations.
• Maintain appearance of plant and yard with housekeeping practices.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on mobile equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs per procedures.
• Follow safety, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Report unsafe practices and participate in safety programs.
