Job summary

Power Design, based in Florida, is seeking a Piping General Foreman to lead field teams on new projects, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role includes travel to a 16,000-square-foot training facility at the headquarters.

You will leverage tech tools and manage multi-million-dollar scopes. Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a field supervisor in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing, with a valid journeyman/master license preferred and strong code knowledge.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with hydronic piping, chiller, boiler, and water source systems.
• Progressive mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing leadership with tech interest.
• Skilled field supervisor with 5+ years managing multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active journeyman or master mechanical or plumbing license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of IMC, IPC, IBC; local codes; and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC distribution systems is a plus.
• Familiar with project management and construction tech tools (Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, etc.).
• Willingness to travel to other Power Design sites within Florida.

This means we’ll need someone to ensure all projects maintain a high level of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. To top it off, you’ll not only have access to innovative technologies in the field – including fully-equipped iPads – but you’ll also travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Position Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
• Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
• Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
• Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
• Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
• Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred
