Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Pipefitter Foreman to lead field teams on new mechanical projects at our Florida facilities. You’ll oversee craft scope, coordinate with the project Superintendent, and drive quality, safety, and on‑time delivery.

You’ll leverage mobile tech (iPads, smartphones) and have opportunities to advance through customized training at our St. Petersburg HQ; travel to project sites within Florida may be required.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.
  • Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path.
  • Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
  • Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project Superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower.
  • Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope.

Here’s What We’re Looking For


  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
