Job summary

Framatome, a leader in nuclear energy solutions, seeks a Mechanical or Structural Engineer to perform pipe stress analyses and supporting structural assessments in accordance with ASME B31.1/B31.3 standards.

Candidates should have extensive experience with piping analysis software such as AutoPIPE, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills across project teams in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3 and ASME classifications 1–3.

Responsibilities

  • Performs non-standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specifications, field tasks and quality event resolution.
  • Receives minimal supervision and works autonomously on most tasks.
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and engineering standards.
  • Applies various technical techniques and criteria with independent judgement.
  • Keeps knowledge of processes and customers up-to-date.
  • Works on special projects as directed and suggests process improvements.
