Job summary

You will perform load calculations, sizing and layouts, equipment selection, shop drawing reviews, field surveys, and participate in client meetings and project teams, growing into a lead role over time.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum GPA 2.5.
• Non-academic internship.
• Leadership in student activities preferred.
• EIT/FE is a plus.
• Internship in MEP consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts.
• Calculate equipment sizes and select equipment.
• Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings.
• Lead piping/plumbing project teams as you gain experience.
• Write specifications and participate in client meetings and reviews.
• Support construction-phase work.
