Job summary

Universal Piping Industries (UPI) is seeking a Detailer to join our team in Troy, Michigan. You will create detailed Revit models for piping and plumbing systems and collaborate with engineering to develop design specifications and construction documents.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating project timelines to support modular assembly and installation. Attention to detail and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit – Strong experience in BIM modeling, particularly in mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Experience creating detailed construction and fabrication drawings to support modular assembly and installation.
• Proficiency with Navisworks or Revit’s clash detection for resolving MEP and structural conflicts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

UPI maintains a corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan and a primary fabrication facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. With additional fabrication in Detroit, MI.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Detailers to join our team at Universal Piping Industries. In this role, you will be instrumental in detailing.
