Job summary

Smart Synergies seeks a seasoned Materials Engineer to lead the design and development of materials for large construction projects, including welding and corrosion challenges. You will analyze materials, guide selection, plan work, and review operating data to ensure robust performance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience (or more) and strong knowledge of relevant codes and SRD software. Willingness to travel and relocate to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of relevant experience or 9–14 years in lieu of degree.
• Broad knowledge of engineering as applied to construction materials and plant constructability.
• Familiarity with piping material specifications and relevant codes.
