Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Piping Foreman to lead quality piping installs on commercial construction projects across Virginia. The role emphasizes safety, leadership of field staff, and strong client relations on jobs ranging from K-12 to healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, prepare BOMs, fabricate and install piping (carbon steel, copper), and install equipment such as boilers and pumps while maintaining excellent communication with customers and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate equipment as needed on site.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Internet, Email.
• Understanding usage of technology - iPad, iPhone, applications, etc.
• Knowledge of steam systems.
• Journeyman or Master Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings for all trades.
• Complete Bill of Materials based on drawings and blueprints.
• Fabrication and installation of piping (carbon steel, copper, etc.).
• Installation of piping equipment (boilers, chillers, pumps, etc.).
• Lead and train all field staff.
• Exceptional customer relational skills; strong written and oral communication.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.

The Role

The Piping Foreman is responsible for ensuring a quality install for our customers and doing so by always promoting safety. You will serve as an essential part of successful mechanical piping system installs on our commercial construction projects as well as providing leadership and support on our sites. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.

What You'll Do

• Ability to read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades.
