Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Cheyenne, Wyoming, seeks a Piping Field Engineer for the Aeros and Fuel Cells area on the Cheyenne Power Hub EPC project. You will interpret piping drawings, support installation, verify materials, and provide technical support to superintendents and crafts.

You will ensure safety, review vendor documents, coordinate with design teams, and help manage field changes and test plans. This role requires a degree and 2–9 years of related experience, with optional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 2–9 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping construction and field safety practices.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards; proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings, sketches, and installation work packages and plans construction methods and sequences.
• Prepares field change documents and RFIs and assists in scheduling workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Initiates requisitions and tracks material purchases; coordinates with subcontractors and vendors.
• Verifies materials and installations; conducts inspections and prepares reports.
• Supports superintendents and craft professionals and resolves constructability issues with design.
