Qualifications

• 20+ years industrial experience in design, preferably chemical manufacturing.
• Expert in process piping and mechanical equipment design.
• Able to work self-directed and drive design processes forward.
• Willing to travel to plant sites for information gathering and field work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee piping and mechanical design coordination between the project manager and engineering contractors.
• Read and understand P&IDs and engineering specifications to interpret scope of work.
• Interface with engineers, operators, maintenance, and site personnel to capture design considerations.
• Provide material takeoffs and labor estimates with field teams; update status with project team.
