Job summary

Jobot is seeking a piping design engineer to own 3D piping layouts from concept through execution in a hybrid work setting. You will collaborate with project teams and lead designers while working in a modern 3D design environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of piping design/engineering experience, strong AutoCAD Plant 3D skills, and the ability to lead small cross-functional teams. A relevant drafting/design degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of piping design or engineering experience.
• Strong AutoCAD Plant 3D proficiency.
• Experience with P&IDs, isometrics, and field measurements.
• Ability to lead small teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Associate’s degree in Drafting or Design (or equivalent hands‑on experience).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D piping designs and layouts compliant with codes and client standards.
• Create equipment layouts, isometrics and BOMs.
• Maintain and coordinate the overall 3D piping model.
• Lead and coordinate other designers to track deliverables.
• Review P&IDs, complete field walkdowns, and participate in client meetings.
