Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced piping designer in Knoxville, TN. You will apply CADWorx on projects in industrial, chemical, and Oil & Gas sectors, reading P&IDs and producing specs with project teams.

Candidates bring 5–10+ years in A/E or similar environments, Navisworks or 3D coordination experience, and strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on CADWorx experience is required.
• Piping design experience using Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and project specifications.
• 5–10+ years of experience in the A/E industry or similar industrial environment.
• Experience with Navisworks or other 3D coordination tools.
• Experience designing piping systems for industrial, manufacturing, chemical, Oil & Gas, or similar projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and piping specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good technical writing and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
