Position: Piping Designer - HVAC Designer / Detailer, AutoCAD

Location: Medina, Ohio

Salary Range: $28.00 - $38.00/HR

Medina County company seeks an experienced Piping / HVAC Designer Detailer with flexible hours on an as-needed basis. Use AutoCAD 2D to detail or assist with designing piping/HVAC projects from concept to completion, working alongside staff engineers.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (Associate or BSME preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for detailing and designing piping/HVAC projects
• Experience with layout of Process Piping Systems, Mechanical Equipment, and Structural Steel based on engineer’s design
• Working knowledge of P&ID diagrams
• 3+ years' experience detailing piping for the chemical process industry (preferred)
• Design capabilities including calculations and sizing of pipes and components (valves, flanges, fittings)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work flexible hours on a project basis
• Must pass Criminal Background Check and 10 Panel Drug Screen
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders
