Job summary

Comrise is seeking a Piping Design & Stress Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team in a fluid, industrial plant setting. You will perform piping design, 3D modeling, pipe stress analysis, and documentation using Caesar II, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Inventor.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of piping experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power projects, with strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI/ASTM codes and good collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis using Caesar II to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME B31.1).
  • Develop and manage 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Design and detail pipe supports and ensure proper integration with structural elements.
  • Create and optimize piping layouts for process efficiency, safety, and maintainability.
  • Generate piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and support details.
  • Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Take-Offs (MTO).
  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure design consistency.
  • Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and constructability assessments.
