Job description
Mechanical Pipe Stress Engineer for piping design and stress analysis.
Design, analysis, and documentation of piping systems in industrial and process plants.
Responsible for 3D modeling, pipe stress analysis, support design, and generation of piping deliverables.
Perform pipe stress analysis using Caesar II to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME B31.1/B31.3).
Develop and manage 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Inventor.
Design and detail pipe supports and ensure proper integration with structural elements.
Create and optimize piping layouts for process efficiency, safety, and maintainability.
Generate piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and support details.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Take-Offs (MTO).
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure design consistency.
Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments.
Requirements
