Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on fluid handling and process flow design, with most work performed remotely and periodic visits to the office in Brooklyn Park. Expect travel to client sites up to 25% of the time.

You will edit 2D process flow diagrams using AutoCAD, design and detail machines, and perform pump and valve sizing calculations to ensure accurate process flow designs align with equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for process diagrams.

Job description

A very reputable client of ours is seeking a mechanically focused Process Engineer to join their team. Candidates must have a background in fluid handling and be proficient in AutoCAD doing process flow diagrams. This role can work remote the majority of the time but will be expected to come into the office sporadically throughout the year. This role will also travel to client sites up to 25% of the time.

Job Title: Mechanical Process Engineer

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Pay Rate: 50-70hr, depends on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc…
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience is required
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Enjoy doing engineering calculationsPast work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc…
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically
