Job summary

Kurita Group is seeking a Piping BIM Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to design and coordinate 3D piping models using Plant3D, aligned with P&ID. You will visualize piping, welding, quantity, and progress, and create catalogs and specifications for on-site projects.

You will supervise interference checks, manage BOM/MTO, and ensure BIM standards are followed while coordinating with design and production teams to deliver accurate piping data and progress dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in piping BIM
• Strong Plant3D and Navisworks experience
• Ability to read P&ID and PLOT PLAN
• Experience creating BOM/MTO from 3D models
• Knowledge of piping materials and fittings
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D model designs for piping and supports based on P&ID
• Perform collision detection and resolve interferences
• Update and manage model data and attributes
• Collaborate with design and production teams on data integration
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and guidelines
• Extract lengths, fittings, and valve quantities from 3D models
• Create materials lists (BOM/MTO) from models for procurement and cost control
• Manage spools, welding status, and on-site installation progress
