Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a trainee to learn piping installation and maintenance, perform daily quality checks, and follow housekeeping objectives under close supervision. Duties include attaching pipes to walls and fixtures, measuring and marking for cuts, preparing components, and assisting with tool use.

The work is in noisy, outdoor industrial environments with varying temperatures; you will follow written and verbal instructions and safety rules, supporting the lead man and team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with internal team and customers.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Learns piping installation and maintenance under supervision.
• Assists with attaching pipes to walls, structures and fixtures.
• Measures and marks pipes for cutting, threading and welding.
• Modifies, cleans, and maintains pipe systems and fittings under close supervision.
• Keeps worksite clean and organized, and assists with basic paperwork.
