Job summary

Stulz Gmbh in Frederick, MD is seeking an entry-level team member to learn the assembly and installation of pipes in units by performing duties in a structured, productive frame. Training opportunities and hands-on work in a manufacturing environment are available.

You will read a tape measure to 1/8 inch, follow verbal and pictorial instructions, and operate hand tools. This role includes pipe cutting, bending, and torch-assisted work as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to learn assembly and installation of pipes in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure to 1/8 inch and verify tolerances.
• Follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions to complete tasks.
• Use hand tools to assemble, cut, thread and bend piping.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe with a hydraulic pipe bender as required.
• Train and work in multiple manufacturing positions (assembly, paint, wire, weld).

This is an entry-level position to learn the process of assembly and installation of pipes in units by performing the following duties in reasonable and productive frames:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
• Must be able to follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Cuts, threads, and bends pipe with a Hydraulic Pipe Bender
• Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings; including iron, steel, copper and plastic.
• Ability to use acetylene and oxygen torch set.
• Train and work in multiple types of manufacturing positions (i.e. assembly, paint, wire and weld).
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
