Pipeline US-Based Job Search Strategist/Career Coach--Part-Time (West Coast/remote)

We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for expected business in 2025.

Description

We seek career coaches to support our relocation and outplacement services. Relocation support includes helping employees and their spouses/families adapt to new cities and assisting spouses/partners in finding employment. Outplacement support involves working with employees seeking new career opportunities.

The Coach works one-on-one with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment. The Coach utilizes IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports spouses or partners with job search assistance.

• Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals.
• Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones.
• Advise on career development, transition issues, and options.
• Maintain electronic records of services provided.
• Monitor progress, provide job search skills coaching, and address personal issues affecting careers.
• Participate in special projects within coaching and operations teams.

Requirements

Minimum two years of experience in job search strategy and career coaching across various industries and levels. Experience with resume writing, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn and social media profiles, salary negotiations, personal branding, and other job search aspects.

• Reside in the Pacific Time Zone and have knowledge of the local job market.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.
• Technologically savvy with high-speed internet, a headset with microphone, and a reliable computer (remote work).

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related fields preferred.
• Coaching certification or training is highly regarded.
• Personally experienced relocation to a different city.
