We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for upcoming opportunities.

Position Description

We have an opening for a part-time, casual career coach based in the DFW area to support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. Relocation support includes helping employees and their spouses/families acclimate to new cities and assisting spouses/partners in finding employment.

In outplacement, we assist employees in searching for new career opportunities. The coach works in a 1:1 capacity with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment in the area. The coach utilizes IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports spouses or partners with job search assistance.

This is a part-time, casual (hours vary as available), remote position, approximately 10-20 hours per week (no guaranteed hours).

  • Establishes rapport with employees and motivates them to achieve their goals.
  • Guides employees through coaching processes and milestone completion.
  • Advises on career development, transition issues, and career options.
  • Coaches on résumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
  • Maintains electronic records for each employee serviced.
  • Monitors progress, provides guidance to improve job search skills, and addresses personal issues affecting careers.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy and career coaching across various industries and levels.
  • Experience with résumé development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn, social media, salary negotiations, and personal branding.
  • Resides in the DFW area and has local knowledge of the job market.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with virtual coaching.
  • Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.
  • Technologically savvy, with high-speed internet and a headset with microphone (remote work).
Ideal Candidate
  • Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related fields (preferred).
  • Coaching certification or training (highly regarded).
  • Has personally relocated to a different city.
