Olin Corporation in Freeport, Texas is seeking a Pipeline Technician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of pipeline systems across designated corridors and OSBL areas. You will perform field inspections, support lockout/tagout, and coordinate with contractors to meet compliance standards.

The role requires extensive pipeline experience (ILI, pigging, hydro-testing), knowledge of DOT regulations, and ability to work on-call. A valid US driver's license and TWIC are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrable pipeline experience in ILI including pigging and hydro-testing.
• Experience with Safe Work Permitting and energy isolation.
• Excavation Competent Person qualification.
• Must have a TWIC and a valid US driver’s license.
• DOT drug and alcohol screening requirements may apply.

Responsabilités

• Perform field inspections and ensure follow-up on deficiencies.
• Manage Lockout/Tagout and Safe Work Permit activities; assist contractors with permits.
• Follow operating discipline to ensure safe operation of pipeline areas.
• Inform personnel of rules, hazards, emergency procedures, and spill plans.
• Troubleshoot pipeline equipment and perform preventive maintenance; support root cause analysis.
