Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Pipeline Technician to maintain and operate natural gas and liquid transmission pipelines and related equipment.

The role includes inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components to keep operations safe and productive. You will perform preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, and electronic/pneumatic equipment, operate custody transfer facilities, and participate in safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• VoTech certificate or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Oil & Gas technical field or related work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the general design and operation of a liquid or gas pipeline is required.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on pumps and electric motors such as bearing and seal replacements, alignments, couplings, etc.
• Maintain on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators, etc.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain and operate custody transfer measurement facilities and perform product quality control tests.
• Participate in safety trainings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Respond to operational emergencies as a member of an area emergency response team.
