Job summary

PERC-eng in Mont Belvieu, TX is seeking a full-time pipeline survey specialist to survey upstream and midstream facilities, using GPS and conventional survey equipment to map routes and generate reports.

The role requires 5+ years of survey experience, ability to travel overnight, work five 10-hour days, and coordinate a field crew while ensuring data quality and client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ survey experience in the project and detailed design of upstream and/or midstream pipeline facilities.
• Experience with GPS and conventional survey technologies.
• Ability to read, create and maintain accurate field data records and documents.
• Knowledge of various survey types: topographic, boundary, ALTA, preliminary, pipeline locating and probing.
• Capable of overseeing inventory of field equipment and maintaining survey vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Survey field routes and piping systems for upstream/midstream facilities.
• Use GPS and traditional survey tools to map installations.
• Prepare detailed field reports and logs for project managers.
• Direct and manage a survey field crew when needed.
• Coordinate with design team to develop high-level and detailed piping system designs.
