Salt Lake Community College is seeking a candidate to work with its Area Health Education Center team. The role involves conducting engaging classroom presentations for middle and high school students about healthcare careers, with activities that include organ dissections. Strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with diverse student backgrounds are essential.
The successful candidate will be a high school graduate with some education in science or health, and will have a flexible schedule for presentations throughout the day.

All employees are expected to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date.
Work with the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) team members to conduct hands‑on classroom presentations to Middle School and High School students. Presentations introduce students to a variety of healthcare career opportunities through exploration and experiential activities that include a lecture and discussion with fresh or frozen organ dissections (i.e., heart, lung, chicken wing and eyeball). Work with program staff to deliver other healthcare career program activities.
