Danos, LLC is seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator to support the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil and natural gas pipeline systems. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficient performance across field locations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pipeline operations, inspections, leak detection, and preventive maintenance, with the ability to respond to after-hours callouts and coordinate with maintenance and control room teams.

Qualifications

• Must have oil and gas pipeline operations experience.
• Experience with inspections, leak detection, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, LOTO, and 811 line locating.
• Able to read pipeline drawings and maps.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate pipeline systems to ensure safe and efficient transportation of oil and natural gas.
• Perform routine inspections of pipelines, valves, pumps, meters, and related equipment.
• Monitor pressures, flow rates and operating conditions to identify and address abnormalities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform pipeline line locating and coordinate with One Call (811) services as needed.
• Assist with pipeline pigging operations, pressure testing, and leak detection.
• Identify and report potential leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and control room personnel to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate daily operating logs, inspection reports and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety policies, environmental regulations and operating procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations, equipment failures, and after-hours callouts as required.

• Perform routine inspections of pipelines, valves, pumps, meters, and associated equipment.
• Monitor pipeline pressures, flow rates, and operating conditions to identify and address abnormalities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform pipeline line locating and coordinate with One Call (811) services as needed.
• Assist with pipeline pigging operations, pressure testing, and leak detection.
• Identify and report potential leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in oil and gas pipeline operations, production operations, or a related field required.
• Experience with pipeline inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and leak detection.
• Familiarity with pipeline line locating and One Call procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of pipeline safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret pipeline drawings, maps, and operating procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between field locations as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to after‑hours callouts when required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
