Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years minimum oil and gas plant and pipeline experience.
• Ability to accurately solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, maintains, and controls the safe, healthy and environmentally sound operations of the gas/oil pipelines.
• Reviews and monitors prior shift to check for accuracy, daily computer log and scan process board.
• Monitors and maintains operations by measuring and regulating flow of product.
• Maintains pipeline by conducting studies and inspections.
• Prepares pipeline reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Inspects equipment for safety problems, leaks, wear and tear, and coordinates repairs.
• Maintains safe work environment by adhering to pipeline standards and regulations.
• Identifies abnormal measurement conditions and implements corrective actions.
• Troubleshoots measurement and automation issues involving field equipment and SCADA systems.
• Maintains logs of meter readings, test results, and adjustments.
