Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role requires inspecting pipelines, valves, pumps, and storage tanks; performing damage prevention; complying with OSHA/DOT/EPA; coordinating with contractors; and maintaining safety and reporting standards. A valid driver’s license and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work well in a team.
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, pumps, and storage tanks.
• Conduct damage prevention activities and monitor line crossings.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete documentation.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate work with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate and communicate with landowners, public agencies, utilities, and other operators.
• Participate in safety programs and on-call duties.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
