Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Pipeline Technician to locate and mark buried pipelines, enforce safety and damage-prevention policies, and support terminal operations in Alabama.

The role requires the ability to read maps, use locators, and lift up to 60 lbs while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities include coordinating with excavators, reviewing proposed excavations, and assisting with maintenance and safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Meet requirements of Operator Qualification Program and perform identified tasks.
• Meet requirements of Process Safety Management Program and perform identified tasks.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication with coworkers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and mark buried pipelines using line locators and manual devices.
• Enforce excavation, one-call, and damage prevention policies; stop-work if unsafe.
• Resolve questions near assets within the one-call system.
• Ensure right-of-way signage meets company requirements.
• Assist with Damage Prevention outreach and safety meetings.
• Assist with terminal operations and maintenance of pumps and motors.
