Job summary

Danos, LLC in Texas is seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator to oversee field operations, locate underground pipelines, and respond to One Call tickets while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will read maps, coordinate with contractors, monitor excavation activities, and document locates and inspections daily. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to multiple field locations are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas pipeline operations and line locating.
• Hands-on experience locating underground pipelines and responding to One Call tickets.
• Ability to read pipeline maps and utility drawings.
• Familiarity with safety policies and DOT/PHMSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pipeline operations, inspections, and routine maintenance.
• Locate and mark underground pipelines using EM locating equipment.
• Receive and respond to One Call (811) tickets within required timeframes.
• Identify and mark underground pipelines prior to excavation activities.
• Monitor third-party excavation near pipelines to ensure safe digging.
• Read and interpret maps, alignment sheets, and drawings.
• Maintain records of line locates and inspections.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on locations and safety procedures.
• Identify and report leaks, malfunctions, and safety concerns.
• Follow company safety policies and applicable regulations.
