Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Pipeline Maintenance Technician II in Cushing, OK to support routine maintenance and open system hot work on mainline piping, terminals and stations. The role involves field travel, safety compliance, and performance of high value tasks in a demanding environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. Experience in crude oil pipeline operations is preferred and a CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic understanding and use of computers.
• DOT Medical Certification Card or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in operations or maintenance for a crude oil pipeline, tank farm or delivery facility preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective assistance in emergency response including containment, repair and cleanup as well as emergency preventative actions relating to abnormal right-of-way conditions to avert any possible incident.
• Perform all types of applicable pipeline repair (e.g. sleeving, emergency repair, stopple, etc) using appropriate Company procedures including but not limited to tasks listed in Company manuals.
• Perform tasks to maintain pipeline integrity (e.g. launching/receiving pipeline inspection tools, shorted casing clearing, test lead installation, etc).
• Understand and follow all safety requirements relative to the performance of pipeline maintenance duties.
• Become Operator Qualified on all required covered tasks prior to performing work independently and oversee those not qualified when required.
