Job summary

Enbridge in the United States is seeking a Pipeline Technician I to work in the field and join our safety-driven team. You will respond to equipment issues, perform lockout/tagout, and help keep pipelines safe and reliable.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to relocate within 30 miles of the reporting location. Overtime, weekend work and overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and minimal direct training and experience.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.
• Can perform tasks requiring heavy physical exertion in sometimes extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment malfunctions and emergencies to safeguard life and property.
• Implement lock out/tag out procedures for safety.
• Complete reports accurately and maintain local filing systems.
• Acquire training to maintain qualifications.
• Order, receive, and transfer materials and perform physical inventory.
• Assist in planning work and budgeting information.
