Job summary

Pipeline Construction & Maintenance, Inc. in Chalmette, LA is seeking Instrumentation & Electrical Technicians to maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot field equipment in a pipeline setting.

The role requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety and hands-on experience with pipeline instrumentation and controls. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Louisiana Class D Chauffeur’s License, a TWIC card, and experience with medium voltage equipment up to 4,160 VAC, with the ability to read

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in instrumentation and electrical systems.
• TWIC Card required.
• Louisiana Class D Chauffeur’s License required.
• Knowledge of pipeline instrumentation and controls up through 4,160 VAC.
• Ability to install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot measurement and electrical equipment in a pipeline environment.
• Handle preventative maintenance and inspections of instruments, analyzers and controls.
• Troubleshoot using loop drawings, schematics, ladder logic, and P&ID drawings.
• Conduct failure analysis on valves, motors and instruments.
