Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires inspecting, maintaining, and operating facilities, coordinating with landowners and contractors, participating in safety programs, and providing on-call support on a rotating basis. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred; Level C: 0–2 years; Level B: 2–4 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Level C requires 0–2 years; Level B requires 2–4 years.
• Experience in pipeline industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump station equipment.
• Coordinate and communicate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and coordinate work with employees and contractors.
• Provide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis.
