ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a field operations professional in Shawnee, OK to perform pipeline construction, installation and maintenance on transmission and distribution systems. You will load and operate tools, perform routine maintenance, and respond to emergencies while complying with safety procedures.

Qualifications include basic math, reading maps/blueprints, and fluency in English. A valid driver’s license and Operator Qualifications are required; CDL eligibility is also noted.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of use, function and maintenance of manual tools and equipment applicable to the position.
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) is required and tested.
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution pipeline systems.
• Familiarity with working in excavations and/or confined spaces; basic customer service and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, atlas pages, blueprints, and job orders.
• Reading and writing fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform pipeline construction, installation, maintenance and removal work on transmission and distribution pipelines.
• Load, unload and operate tools and equipment including pipe cutters, wrenches, backhoes, compressors, and related gear.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment (fueling, oil, lubricants, filters).
• Investigate orders and emergency situations such as low pressure, leaks, fires, or undetectable lines.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
