Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician I, II, or III in the United States to read drawings, support pipeline operations, and analyze data for problem solving while maintaining safe operations. Role requires safety mindset and adherence to permits and compliance.

This position involves long shifts, overtime, and potential travel between Williams locations. High school diploma or equivalent and several years of experience are required; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
• Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting/supervising equipment
• Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to solve technical or operational problems
• Follows all Company policies and maintains applicable operating and maintenance procedures
• Learns and adheres to safety requirements for safe operation of facilities and protection of people, environment, and assets
• Maintains knowledge of site/equipment/permits and compliance
• Completes reports, logs and records of process operations and preventative maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
