Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP seeks an Engineer I/II/III or Project Manager for our Lafayette, LA office. The role covers engineering design, project management, and construction support for natural gas and liquid pipelines and facilities.

Responsibilities include data collection, root-cause analysis, estimating maintenance projects, preparing specifications, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years’ experience related to engineering.
• Knowledge of applicable natural gas industry codes, standards and regulations including DOT Pipeline Code 49 CFR 191, 192, 193, ASME B31.3, B31.8. and FERC Regulations found in 18 CRF 1.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience in project management of interstate natural gas pipelines and facilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design, project management, and construction support on a diverse range of pipeline projects.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to conceptualize and estimate maintenance capital, maintenance expense, and reimbursable projects.
• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules, prepare specifications, order material, review drawings, and negotiate scopes of work.
