Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP in Monroe, LA, is seeking an Operations Engineer to provide technical support for the safe and efficient operation of pipelines, compressor stations, and M&R facilities. You will collaborate with Field Operations and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and asset performance.

The role requires 3+ years in midstream gas operations, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 40% to field locations. A PE license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting natural gas compressor stations (midstream oil & gas preferred).
• Working knowledge of pipeline, compressor station, and/or M&R facility operations.
• Familiarity with PSM, MOC, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with engineering software and digital tools.
• Willingness to travel to field locations (up to 40%).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipelines, compressor stations, M&R facilities, and related midstream assets.
• Collaborate with Field Operations, Engineering & Construction, and Asset Performance teams to drive operational excellence.
• Support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure regulatory and process safety compliance.
