Job Title: Pipeline Engineer
Location: Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid: Three times a week)
Rate: $40 – $60/hr (W2)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Contract Type: W2 (Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
5–10 years of relevant pipeline engineering experience
Familiarity with PHMSA regulations and compliance standards
Strong understanding of pipeline integrity, design, and development processes
Proficiency in engineering design, feasibility analysis, and regulatory compliance
PowerBI experience is
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering tasks on pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with PHMSA and industry standards
Provide pipeline integrity support to capital projects in development phases
Implement structured asset integration processes into operational systems
Design materials, structures, and systems with attention to practicality, safety, regulation, and cost
Conduct feasibility studies and assess resource requirements (labor and materials)
Establish standards for operating and development activities
Validate and analyze engineering approaches suggested by junior staff
Make decisions using established guidelines, policies, and procedures
Tackle complex assignments with innovative approaches and resolve unusual technical challenges
