Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in pipelaying/underground utility construction.
• Proficient in the safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read construction plans and follow safety protocols.
• Knowledge of traffic rules and safety on highways.
• Familiar with Underground Facilities Law.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair sanitary or storm-water sewer systems.
• Dig trenches and locate pipes for repair/replacement.
• Use lasers, grade rods, and other tools to set pipe installation grades.
• Ensure safety by following Blue Stake policy and operating equipment properly.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
