Jobtailor in Savannah, GA is seeking a skilled pipe fitter to assemble, install, and repair underground piping for water, sewer, and storm drain systems. The role requires reading blueprints and working with lasers and transits to ensure precise placement.

You will direct trenching, coordinate with equipment operators, and uphold safety by completing Garney certifications such as Rigging and Signaling, Confined Space, and OSHA 10.

Competenze

Previous experience with pipe laying.
Two years of experience installing large diameter pipes for water, sewer, and storm drain.
Experience reading and understanding blueprints and specifications to determine work procedure.
Ability to work on their feet for an entire day.
Ability to understand and perform assigned tasks.
Willingness to complete Garney-provided certifications, including Rigging and Signaling Certification, Confined Space Training Certification, and OSHA 10 hour.
Willingness to work overtime.
May be required to complete a post-offer physical and site-specific background check.
Must work in a drug-free workplace.
