Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a journeyman-support role to assist with laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and related components in industrial settings.

The position involves cutting, threading, bending, mounting, and testing piping, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of related experience, and be prepared to work at heights and comply with site rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 0–2 years in the field.
• Must follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assists journeyman pipefitters in laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping systems and related equipment.
• Inspects worksite for obstructions and plans installation sequence.
• Cuts, threads, bends, mounts and secures pipes using hand and power tools.
