Job summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks a General Foreman for a project in Temple, TX.

The General Foreman will manage and supervise the planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of all types of piping systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the foremen and leadmen under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Journey-level in Pipe and at least 2 years as Lead/Supervisor of Pipe Crew.
• Working knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and methods for different types of piping systems and pipe couplings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for pipefitter's work.
• Read and understand plans and specifications, including orthographic and isometric drawings.
• Develop understanding of contract plans and supervise/install/repair piping systems.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance and take corrective action.
