Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a pipefitter helper or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Aid pipefitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools, preparing materials for installation.
• Assist with the installation of pipe systems, supports, fixtures, and equipment for various piping systems such as water, gas, and steam.
• Inspect and test installed systems to identify leaks and other issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment by wearing appropriate PPE and participating in safety meetings.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are cleaned, stored properly, and available for use when needed.
