This role involves the assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of piping systems according to specifications and safety standards. Job Responsibilities\*\* \* Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and other technical documents to determine piping layouts, materials, and procedures. \* Select and properly use appropriate tools and equipment for cutting, bending, threading, and assembling pipes. \* Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial production and processing systems. \* Perform pipe fitting activities, including welding, soldering, brazing, gluing, and bolting. \* Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of piping systems to ensure leak-free operation. \* Inspect installed piping systems and components for compliance with specifications and safety standards. \* Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning pipe systems, identifying and replacing defective parts. \* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations. \* Maintain a clean and organized work area. \* Collaborate effectively with other trades and project team members. Job Qualifications\*\* \* Proven experience as a Pipefitter, preferably within industrial or energy service environments. \* Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings. \* Proficiency in various pipefitting techniques, including cutting, bending, threading, welding, and joining different types of piping materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC). \* Strong understanding of pipefitting tools and equipment operation and maintenance. \* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices. \* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and in confined spaces. \* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \* Effective communication and teamwork abilities. \* Relevant certifications (e.g., welding certifications) are a plus. \* Must be willing to travel and work on various project sites within the 26120 North Carolina area.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
