Job summary

Hill York seeks an experienced Pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, install, weld, and maintain piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in both new construction and retrofit projects.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and work with various materials while adhering to OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and handle heights safely.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, assemble, and install piping systems per plans.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe with hand/power tools and machines.
• Weld and join pipes using SMA, GMAW, or GTAW methods as needed.
• Inspect workmanship for code compliance and quality.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and participate in safety meetings.
