Hill York Service Company in Florida seeks an experienced Pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, install, weld, and maintain piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing.

The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in both new construction and retrofit environments. On-site work with a safety-first culture and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
• Excellent safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating lifting equipment (forklifts, Lull, scissor lifts).
• Welding certificate is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, assemble, and install piping systems per plans and specs.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools.
• Weld in multiple positions using SMAW, GMAW, or GTAW methods as needed.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to codes and plans.
• Coordinate with supervisors and teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
